Claim a PDU

1)           Login to www.pmi.org, using your ID and password

2)           Select Certification

3)           Select Maintain Your Certification:  Earn and report PDUs

4)           Select Report PDUs

5)           Select Report professional development units (PDUs) (In the Left Column)

6)           For *PDU Category, Select “Cat A:  Registered Education Provider/PMI Component”

7)           For Chapter and Branch meetings

8)           For *Activity Type, Select “Report a Component 1-2 PDU Event

9)           Select “Next

10)      For Component ID:  Type “C343” for PMI Emerald Coast Chapter

11)      Select “Search”  - Returns The Emerald Coast Chapter name

12)      Enter “Date” in Activity date completed

13)      Enter Activity title: “Event Title” (from eventsbot), “PMI Chapter <Month> <Year> General Meeting” or Mobile/Panama City/Pensacola Branch <Month> <Year> General Meeting”

14)      Enter remaining fields from Eventsbot information

15)      Select “Next

16)      Enter *PDUs Claimed Enter # of PDUs earned for event (1 or 2 in .25 increments)

17)      Select “Next

18)      Select Box “I agree this claim is accurate.”

19)      Select “Submit

The five other Categories you make claim PDUs for:

Cat B:  Continuing Education

Cat C:  Self-Directed Learning – LIMIT No more than 30-PDUs during 3-year certification cycle

NOTE:  PMP credential holders may not earn more than a total of 45 PDUs in the three” Giving Back to the Profession” (Categories D, E and F) categories per 3-year certification cycle.

Cat D:  Creating New Project Management Knowledge - For preparing and presenting project management presentations at Chapter and Branch functions, place of employment, other professional venues.

Cat E:  Volunteer Service - For serving as Chapter or Branch officer or volunteering

Cat F:  Work as Practitioner
